The Lady Amherst, much like the Golden Pheasant, is gorgeous, docile and mostly solitaire. These birds will also spend much of the day foraging for seeds or invertebrates and do enjoy roosting on raised branches at night. Their diet will also consist of greens and game bird pellet.
Our pheasants are not pinioned. Clipped wings are available at an additional $2.50 per bird and the trimming can last for 4-6 months.
