Elliot Pheasants
Named after bird expert Daniel Giraud Elliot, this species is much larger than Goldens. Elliots are a hardy pheasant breed. Males can become aggressive toward females during breeding season, so it is important to give birds enough space to shelter from each other during this time. Diet consists mainly of seeds, leaves and berries, along with game bird pellet.
Our pheasants are not pinioned. Clipped wings are available at an additional $2.50 per bird and the trimming can last for four to six months.
